The Project
A three-foot grade change resolved, a cedar pergola raised, and a 42" Lynx grill installed in a concrete island — done in seven weeks.
The clients had a flat, underutilised backyard in Hopewell and a vision: a covered outdoor kitchen and dining area they could use from April through November. The challenge was a grade change of nearly three feet from the house to the rear property line.
We graded the site, poured a 30×24 concrete slab, and built a cedar pergola with retractable shade panels above the dining zone. The outdoor kitchen features a 42" Lynx grill, pizza oven, two under-counter refrigerators, and a concrete countertop poured in place.
Custom bluestone steps descend to a lower fire pit terrace. The project was completed in seven weeks, just in time for the client's daughter's graduation party.
