Our Commitment

One suite,one scope,one contract.

A primary suite is the bath, the closet and the bedroom planned together: a bigger shower, a real closet, a wall moved to borrow space from a hall or a spare room. Doing it as one project means one design, one permit set and one crew we manage, instead of three jobs that don’t line up.

Ryan McNee, owner of The Home X

From Ryan

Ryan McNee, owner, The Home X

A lot of calls start with “we want a bigger shower.” Then we walk it, and the real problem is the closet, or a hallway wasting ten feet.

Plan the bath, closet and bedroom together and it feels like a great hotel, not three rooms that don’t talk. One design, one permit, one schedule, one person to call: me.

Scope of Work

What We Deliver

Your written scope lists what we do and don’t do, the materials, allowances, schedule and price.

Schedule

Set in your written scope

  1. 01

    The Layout

Borrowing space from a closet, a hall or a spare bedroom. If a wall holds up the house, the beam and the permit are in your written scope.

  2. 02

    The Bath

Shower, tub, vanities and toilet room, waterproofed where it gets wet, with plumbing by subcontractors we manage.

  3. 03

    The Closet

A walk-in or a dressing room, with built-ins and lighting instead of a rod and a shelf.

  4. 04

    The Bedroom

Floors, ceiling lighting, trim and paint, so the suite reads as one room.

  5. 05

    Heat, Air and Light

Heated floors, ventilation sized for the bath, and lighting on dimmers, by the trades we manage.

  6. 06

    Built-Ins

Window seats, dressers built into a wall, a coffee bar: drawn and priced before anything is built.
