The Home X employs every trade required for your project on a full-time, W-2 basis. Framing, plumbing, electrical, tile, and finish carpentry are all performed by our own team. We do not bring in unknown subcontractors. This is how we maintain one consistent standard of quality and one accountable point of contact across the full build.

The Home X is licensed as a home improvement contractor in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. We carry general liability insurance, workers compensation coverage, and are fully bonded on every project. All work is permitted and inspected to the applicable local building code. Certificates of insurance and licence documentation are available on request prior to signing a contract.

Every Home X project carries a workmanship warranty covering defects in installation and craftsmanship. Standard projects are covered for a minimum of 2 years. Premium-tier projects are covered for 5 years. Signature projects carry a lifetime workmanship guarantee. Manufacturer material warranties are separate and provided directly by each supplier.

The Home X commits to the week-by-week construction schedule set out in your signed scope. Every active project is tracked against that schedule. If a milestone is at risk due to factors on our side, you are notified before it happens and we absorb any knock-on costs to our trade sequence to protect your completion date. You will not discover a delay on the day it occurs.

The investment figure in your signed scope is the total you pay. If material costs increase, a trade takes longer than planned, or an unforeseen condition is encountered, those costs are absorbed by The Home X. If you choose to add to the agreed scope, a written change order is prepared, priced, and approved by you before any additional work begins. There are no surprise line items at handover.
