A whole-home remodel is several rooms, or the whole house, planned together and built under one contract. We have a whole-home job in South Orange, NJ. It runs the same way as a kitchen or bath with us: a visit, a written scope, then a crew we manage.

    Which rooms, in what order, and what has to happen first. Structure and systems come before finishes, so nothing gets torn out twice.

    Walls that come out, beams that go in, openings that get wider. Structural work gets a permit and is written into your scope.

If you change something, or we open a wall and find a problem, you get a written change order with the price. That work starts only after you sign it.

1-Year Workmanship Warranty

Your contract carries a 1-year workmanship warranty. Manufacturer warranties on fixtures, appliances and materials pass through to you.

Before you sign

You owe nothing until you sign. Anything you haven’t picked yet is carried as an allowance in the scope.

The Build

On site

A crew we manage does the work; plumbing, electrical and HVAC work goes to subcontractors in those trades, and other specialty trades when a job needs them. On your job, any permit the work needs is in place before that work starts. If something puts a date at risk, you hear it from us first.

Any change comes as a written change order, priced and signed before that work starts. Your contract carries a 1-year workmanship warranty.

It depends on how many rooms and how far each one goes. We only publish prices from jobs we’ve signed, and we don’t have a whole-home range to publish yet. Your number comes in a written scope after our visit, and you owe nothing until you sign.

Yes. We pull the permits the work needs, and the fee is in your scope. Any permit is in place before that work starts.
